Plowing
When we have a significant snowstorm we hire a snow removal company to treat and plow our roads. In most cases when we have a light snow, the roads clear themselves quickly with a southern sun exposure. During snow/ice events, all roads shall be deemed “travel at your own risk”.
Heavy Snow
During a heavy snow/ice event we will notify the community by email and let them know when plowing services will begin and end. It is important that we keep our vehicles away from the sides of the roads so the plows have a clear safe access. After plowing there will be an adequate size lane but it will not accommodate two cars passing each other. Drive slowly and beware of oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
In summary, our private roads have their challenges but they are a small price to pay for the beauty that surrounds us.
